I took Mom down to see Dr. Mattsson in Ogden this afternoon for her post op appointment. He said she is doing really well and he feels her knee is going to heal up great. He told her that when she can bend it to 120 degrees she can come home. She is currently at about 90 degrees, but maybe she will be even more motivated by the thought of coming home. She is doing really great with her therapy and I'm really proud of her. We had a nice trip and I think she enjoyed being out and about for a while. It was Janalee's birthday yesterday. We got together Sunday night for cake over at the Sunshine Terrace. They have a family gathering room and so we had a family gathering in it. Susan and Craig went over to Tremonton and brought Kathy over. She looks good and it was great to see her. She was thrilled to be able to visit Mom. We celebrated with some of Chris's Outrageous Chocolate Cake from The Cheesecake Factory. If you have never tasted this most amazing of all cakes then you are missing out and you should rectify the situation as soon as possible. It is several layers of chocolate cake, brownie, coconut pecan filling and chocolate chip coconut cheesecake. It is good enough that I actually drove to Salt Lake just to pick up the cake. It was the only reason for the trip and it was worth the drive. Marijka was in a melodrama at the tabernacle last week. It was called For Love or Mischief and was put on by a lot of people from here in Wellsville. It was really good and Marijka did an awesome job playing the thief. We were all very proud of her. She also just got a roll in the chorus in her high school musical "Singing In the Rain" which will be in November.

I am glad things went well today with your mom and her appointment! That cake was amazing! Marijka did a very good job in the play and i am excited for her role in singing in the rain.
It's nice to hear your mom is doing a little better. I love Dr. Mattson!! He operated on Kenzie the day after school got in 2nd grade. She was playing kick-the-can with a bunch a friends and broke her leg pretty good. If you ever need a place to hang while you're in Ogden, we're not far!
