The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly

So the good news is that Kyle has been cleared to remove his brace and only use his walker or crutches when he feels he needs to.  The trick is trying to get him not to overdue.

The bad news is that Kyle is scheduled for shoulder surgery on October 18th.  They aren't sure what exactly is wrong with it other than it doesn't move the way it should and hurts a lot.  Since they can't do an MRI on him because of the small problem that the magnets in the machine could tear his pacemaker out of his chest, they have to scope it to find out and try to fix it. 

The ugly news is that Mom broke part of the knee replacement she had put in a couple of years ago and has to have surgery in the morning to replace the replacement.  She is not looking forward to it at all.  The pain last time was very severe.  She will be in the McKay Dee Hospital for 3 days or so.
